Course Description

Many states require sexual harassment and abusive conduct prevention training. Join us for this webinar in which Karen Sloat will coach participants on the latest definitions and cases of sexual harassment and abusive conduct, how you and your clients can prevent unlawful conduct in the workplace, what to do when an employee reports someone for sexual harassment and the potential consequences for employers who ignore potential sexual harassment claims.

Learning Objectives:


  • Recognize the elements of Sexual Harassment and the remedies available to victims under both California and federal laws

  • Identify other forms of unlawful harassment

  • Determine strategies for preventing and responding to unlawful harassment

  • Define the elements of an effective anti-harassment policy and how to use it

  • Evaluate concerns regarding abusive conduct in the workplace


*This course meets the California Statutory requirement for one hour of mandatory “interactive” employee training and may also meet attendees’ continuing education requirements for all attendees who attend “live.” The “interactive” requirement in CA cannot be satisfied by watching the webinar without a qualified trainer available for live Q&A.
